Jesus Christ Welcomes You to His Church

May the Peace of Christ be with you.
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website! We hope this website gives you the information you may be looking for. Feel free to peruse it and come back frequently as bulletins, calendar notes, parish events, and information will be regularly updated here.
Of course, the best way to experience Christ's love & the friendship He shares with us isn't to experience a website. The best way to celebrate the joys of life is to experience our Holy Masses here at St. Michael's and St. Mary's. Please know that you are welcome & needed here! Jesus gave us His Catholic Church for communion, peace, and to have life & live it more abundantly. He invites you to journey with Him in the Sacraments of the Catholic Church, and we are honored to journey with Him here at St. Michael's & St. Mary's!
You are loved by Him. Do not be afraid. Be joyful! God bless & keep you always!
Cheers,
Rev. Justin Fulton
Pastor, St. Michael's-Fairbury/St. Mary's-Alexandria

Christ
All of us are broken. All of us need healing. All of us desire truth, beauty, goodness, & unity.
God knew this.
That is why He sent us Son Jesus for you & me. Jesus taught.
Jesus died & destroyed sin & death so that we might live forever.
Jesus started a Church so that His Eternal Life might be shared with you.
He founded the Catholic Church to have a personal relationship with you in Scripture, His Sacraments, and prayer.
Christ’s sanctifying grace & His Life remain in the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
Communion
When you have a best friend, you want the friend to experience everything that you experience. This is why people stay connected with friends on the phone, over coffee or lunch, through notes, texts, social media, etc.
Christ begs us to stay connected and live in communion with Him. He sees you as a best friend. He longs to be in your heart. We can reject Him with our choices. We can let Him in with our choices. We have some wonderful opportunities in our parish to know Christ better through study, entertainment, and prayer.
Here are a few of them that are given to you.
Community
God created us for community.
From birth, our need for love, safety, and connection reflects this design.
God Himself is a communion—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and we’re meant to reflect that unity.
When we live in right relationship with God, we live in harmony with others. It’s not good for us to be alone; we thrive in connection. Our parish seeks to grow in relationship with God and one another, building stronger homes and communities. Join us in living God’s will—that we may all be one.
